For 24 years in the 7-14 age group I have been training youth football. And I've seen all the imaginable scenarios a coach can do to train young football. I was also a certified high school official for about 7 years. Over the years, I have seen many changes not only in the eyes but also in the eyes of the parents.
I was on both sides of the ball. As a coach I have had the opportunity to work as a main coach and assistant. As a parent, there are two sons who played in both youth and high school football. Both were average players. Knowing my parents and the coach helped me pass through the difficult births.

This is the schedule I've run for my practice. Execution is performed by repetition. It works. The schedule is as follows:
- 6:30 – 6:50 – warming / calisthenics and 2 laps
- 6:50 – 7:35 – failure at the stations (blocking, etc.) station. Each station lasts 15 minutes. Do not take too large groups to play back on each player.
- 7:35 – 8:00 – Offensive or defensive drills. Break up groups and run the drill. I say attacking or defensive because of one-night attacking drills, one night defensive drills and one night special teams.
